A loggerhead sea turtle was released on Indialantic Beach on October 4, 2007 by the Mote Marine Laboratory after almost 10 months of care. This subadult (estimated to be 20 years old) was found stranded on a Brevard County beach on Decmber 20, 2007.

This turtle, now named Uri, was lethargic and suffering from a viral infection. Uri was force-fed and given antibiotics. The turtle returned to a healthy condition after months of care by the Mote Marine Laboratory staff.
