My wife, Helga, and I were fortunate enough to spend the Sunday morning of Labor Day Weekend at Clyde Butcher's Muck About 2007. The main event is a ninety minute walk though the Big Cypress Swamp - led by an expert guide to point out the exciting life in the swamp.

Much more information is available at http://clydebutcher.com/. More than 500 people participated in the swamp walks on Sunday. Every person that we spoke with had a great time and plans to recommend the event to their friends.

Everglades restoration has received lots of attention in the press. This swamp walk could help you to understand how important the preservation of Big Cypress Swamp is to all who live and visit in Florida.
