The Florida Master Naturalist Class (Freshwater Wetlands Module) from the Environmental Learning Center in Vero Beach visited the Fort Drum Marsh Conservation Area on a Field Trip in August 2007.

This property consists of 20,862 acres including marshes that represent the headwaters of the St. John's River. A boardwalk through a cypress swamp provides a spectacular view of the bald cypress and other vegetation.
