I made a quick trip to the Fakahatchee Strand Preserve State Park in the Western Everglades to photograph some Florida orchids in bloom and to accompany a group of Florida Master Naturalists from the Environmental Learning Center on a "swamp walk". Mike Owen and Donna Glann-Smyth did their usual great job of showing the exciting bromeliads, orchids, ferns, wildlife and more to the Master Naturalist group.
